About Us

Svorinich Government Affairs has been a leading advocacy and public affairs firm in the Greater Los Angeles/Southern California area since 2001. The firm has been named one of the top advocacy firms in Los Angeles County by the Los Angeles Business Journal since 2013 – when the category was first created, and firms recognized accordingly. The firm has also been the top sole proprietor advocacy firm since that time as well.

Our firm was founded by the Honorable Rudy Svorinich, Jr., former President Pro Tempore of the Los Angeles City Council who served two terms as 15thDistrict (Greater Harbor Area) Councilman from 1993 – 2001 when he was termed out of office.

Prior to being elected, he was a small businessman, vice-president of two Harbor Area chambers of commerce and a chief deputy in a California State Legislature South Bay Assembly office. He holds a bachelor's degree in business management.

During his tenure, Councilman Svorinich also served in the following capacities which led to our firm’s depth of experience in governmental affairs:
